World War II- The Holocaust began when Adolf Hitler started to defy the treaty of Versailles that ended World War I. Hitler began to build a new air force and a new military draft that would greatly expand the German army which was in direct violation with the treaty.
- European nations tried to prevent war by giving into Hitler's demands.
- Hitler becomes greedy for land and the city of Danzig to return to Germany. Germany (Hitler) becomes upset and decides to take action to get what they want. So they invade Poland!
